Bird in the Tree picked up Down under - Amy Moss has selected our handmade solid beech chopping board for the influential design blog eatdrinkchic.Take a look at September 29th.  http://eatdrinkchic.com/

 All our grinders are made using FSC beech growing in adjacent forests. A beautiful thriving woodland habitat full of wild boar and deer, the ecosystem has been sustainably planted and managed since the early 1700's, years before the proliferation of environmental concerns so relevant today.

Each board is air dried outside for 12 months, then kiln drying reduces moisture to 11%. The kiln's heat is generated by sawdust from the production side of the factory.

The carbon footprint could not be lower.
